Woolton Golf Club
In light of Governments’s announcement last week I thought I would update you on how this affects you at the Golf Club from Monday 14th September.
We can still entertain 24 customers/members in the clubhouse, providing we continue to show social distancing between each group of 4. It is also important for me to reemphasise to you all that you must not move tables and chairs around.
Clearly, the downside of the new rules are that functions are pretty much banned for now, and we have been advised that we are not likely to be able to host wedding receptions or funeral wakes etc.
NHS Test and Trace
The government have recognised that this has been patchy at best and are ramping up the legal sanctions for failure to provide appropriate information, if requested, again I need to reemphasise the fact that you MUST, during this pandemic leave your contact details in the bar and in the pro shop when you check in.
England Golf have been clear on this and in accordance with government guidelines. All Members and Customers should be expected to wear face coverings throughout the clubhouse, except when they are sat down drinking or eating.
Whilst this isn’t all bad news it is by no means a return to normal, We have asked some committee members to help the staff police the new rules that we are putting in place, please help by doing your part to follow the rules they are for the safety of all our staff, members and visitors and the last thing we want is to risk the likelihood of having an outbreak of the corona virus and having to close the clubhouse or a fixed penalty fine so please be patient with the all staff whilst we try and navigate through this situation.
