Woolton Golf Club

Dress Code

 CLUBHOUSE / DRESS POLICY

The Board want to ensure you have the best possible experience when visiting Woolton Golf Club and ask that you support us by observing our dress code:

On the Course

Conventional golf wear is required and shirts must be tucked into trousers.  Shorts if worn must be tailored and worn with sport socks or knee length socks.  In deciding what dress is acceptable, if apparel is specifically designed for golf or sold in the professionals shop then it is deemed to be acceptable. Members are requested to ensure that their guests comply with this policy.

We ask everyone, including staff, to politely point out anybody not conforming to the above dress code.

In the Clubhouse / Car Park / Patio

Golf shoes / clothes may not be changed in the car park. Golf shoes may be worn in the spike bar. Members and visitors are requested to change after golf before using the   Centenary Room or Dining Room.  We ask that wet weather sportswear, windcheaters, zipped leather / simulated leather jackets, hats or outdoor coats are removed inside the Club House.

After 7pm, jacket and tie must be worn in the dining room unless prior permission has been agreed by the Captain, General Manager or House Chairman.

Use of mobile phones is only permitted in the corridor leading to the office or outside in the car park.

For all social events, the dress code is as published on the notice board advertising the event.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are respectfully asked to avoid embarrassment to yourself, your guests and our staff by ensuring the following items are not worn on the course or in or around the Clubhouse area:
Denim jeans, cargo style trousers / shorts, beachwear, training shoes / sandals and round neck tee shirts.
