The club has a sociable and vibrant membership and enjoys a good balance between friendly casual play and competition golf. A well maintained, tree lined, beautifully picturesque golf course, with the best greens in the area awaits. It may be short by modern day standards at 5688 yards (par 69 from the white tees and 5432 yards par 72 from the reds) but the narrow fairways and small greens make it a fair test for all standards of player.
In the recently refurbished and well appointed Clubhouse you will find a very friendly lounge area with excellent views out to the course, a well stocked bar with beers and wines from around the world and large screen tv's to enjoy live sports. There's also excellent hospitality and function facilities. Outside we have a sun drenched, wonderfully tranquil patio area next to the putting green, with views across the course and lots of seating to enjoy a drink or two on a fine summer's day.
On site we have the very well regarded PGA Club Professional Dave Thompson, with an excellent reputation for coaching, and a warm welcome awaits all members visiting Dave's well stocked pro shop.

4. Juniors Go Free
We’re always keen to drive golf participation and encourage youngsters into golf, so we’ve decided to remove any financial barriers and offer our 5, 6 & 7 day members additional free junior golf membership to children under 14. That could be a child, grandchild or member of the family.
5. Tee Time Availability
We also offer our members 14 days advanced bookings and members only tee times at peak times on weekends to ensure you always get your desired tee times.
6. Courtesy Rounds At Local clubs
Becoming a member at Woolton you also benefit from courtesy at local clubs so if you’re feeling like you want a change of scenery talk to our Pro and he’ll be able to sort a round for you.
7. FREE Room Hire
Have you got a Birthday coming up? Or another celebration? Well as a full playing member you can book any of our function rooms for free!
Golf Academies
New to golf? We can offer a helping hand by introducing you to golf through our academies run by P.G.A. Professional Dave Thompson and his P.G.A. qualified assistant and club fitting specialist Iain Robertson. We offer gents, ladies and junior academies at different times of the year. The academies help you to learn the basics of golf and are supported by members so you also get to meet new people. If you don’t have any clubs, we can provide these for you. Contact the office or our Professional for further details.
